Well Hello There :)

Hello all :) I’m Kelsey. I’m super excited to get started posting regularly on this blog. First and foremost, this will be a chiropractic blog. I hope to give you all information on what chiropractic care is, why it works, and how living a chiropractic lifestyle can change your life for the better. Never been to a chiropractor before? Or scared to try it? This is for you. Have a great chiropractor but have no clue why you feel so great when you leave his/her office? This is for you too! Want to read my crazy ramblings from time to time? You’ve come to the right place. To start...I’ll just begin with a little introduction of myself.

I grew up in a big family in Northern Minnesota (an awesome place to grow up!) I went on to complete my Biology major and Chemistry minor at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. In 2012 I started chiropractic college at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, later transferring to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN to be closer to home and family. Throughout my schooling, I extensively studied both the Gonstead chiropractic technique and chiropractic philosophy. In 2014 I defended my thesis on the necessary separation of chiropractic philosophy and religion to earn my ACP (Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers).

After getting married to my high school sweetheart and graduating in 2015, I had the great privilege of practicing in two different offices as an associate chiropractor in Bloomington, MN and New York City, NY. I learned so much from both of these experiences - from my chiropractic colleagues as well as from my wonderful patients. In 2018 my husband, Brent, and I welcomed our son, Soren, into our family.

Today my little family resides in South Minneapolis and can be found frequenting our neighborhood coffee shop, visiting our neighborfamily, or tromping around the yard. (Soren is learning to walk!) We are so excited for the MN summer to get outside and of course for the opening of my practice within Spark Wellness in June.

I hope you find this blog useful, informational, and inspirational! Please stay tuned for news about my practice opening adventures. I’m so excited to support my South Minneapolis community with quality Gonstead chiropractic care.
